Veterans Day: Honoring Veterans With Song

I just had to write a mini-post (though it is off my usual topic:) to honor our country's veterans in honor of Veterans Day.  Where would we be without our veterans?  Certainly not the free society we are today.  Please take the time today to honor veterans in some way.  Go to a parade or ceremony, thank a veteran you know, send a package to troops overseas, or say a prayer for the safety of our current soldiers fighting for our country. 
I recently wrote a Squidoo page on country songs about war.  It seems timely today to give it a listen.

So here is my big THANK YOU to all of our veterans who have bravely and selflessly sacrificed themselves for my freedom!  God bless America.
